ONE A DAY BANANA BARS | |
3/4 c. butter 2/3 c. sugar 2/3 c. brown sugar 1 egg 1 tsp. vanilla 1 1/2 c. sifted flour 1/2 c. rye or whole-wheat flour 2 tsp. baking powder 6 oz. carob chips 2 medium ripe bananas Preheat oven to 350°F. Mix sugar and butter until fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla, then beat together. Stir in bananas. In another bowl, mix flours and baking powder. Mix both mixtures until combined. Stir in carob chips. Pour into 9 x 11 greased pan. Bake 25 minutes. |
