“EASY CREAM CHEESE PUMPKIN PIE” IS IN:

EASY CREAM CHEESE PUMPKIN PIE 
1 small can (15oz) pumpkin pie filling
1 pkg soft (8oz) Philly cream cheese
1 large tub Cool Whip
1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
2 deep 9" graham cracker pie crusts
(wafer or ginger snap may be substituted)
cinnamon (to sprinkle on top)
Ready Whip (for serving)

Combine pumpkin, cream cheese, and spice in mixer until well blended. Fold into Cool Whip gently, so that it stays fluffy.

Spoon into pie shells. Crust should be well filled.

Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour.

Tp serve, top with Ready Whip and a light sprinkling of cinnamon for the perfect finishing touch.

BE CERTAIN that the "pie filling" you get is sweetened OR, you MUST add up to a cup of sugar (I used powdered sugar) to the pumpkin otherwise, its so incredibly bland as to be awful! Sweetened properly, this is a very good recipe!

Yeah, that sugar tip would have been great to know on the actual recipe,I now have two pies that I can't serve. Also, the cool whip makes the pie have an oily feel in your mouth.

When i made this Recipe it was VERY bland...until i added a heaping spoon of brown sugar and 3/4 cup of powdered sugar. Turned out to be the best pumpkin pie ever!

Super close call on the adding extra sugar. I added 2/3 cup of dark brown sugar and the pies came out awesome. This is very delicious!!

Awesome recipe, never liked pumpkin pie before this. I did add a 1/2 cup of brown sugar and 1/2 cup icing sugar to this. All I can say is YUM!

This recipe calls for PUMPKIN PIE FILLING, which is already sweetened. I use Libby's Pumpkin Pie Mix, NOT plain Canned Pumpkin.
That being said, this recipe is very good as is. I changed nothing, and it turned out delicious!
