BANANA BARS 
1/2 c. butter
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs, beaten
2 lg. or 3 sm. bananas
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
3/4 c. buttermilk or sour milk

Cream butter and sugar until fluffy; add eggs, 1 at a time, beating after each egg until mixture is creamy. Stir in bananas and vanilla. Combine flour, salt and soda. Add dry ingredients alternately with milk to creamed mixture, beating until well blended and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Use a 13 x 9 x 2 inch pan. Frost with cream frosting.
