1 c. corn oil
2 c. sugar
2 eggs, well beaten
2 tsp. vanilla
3 c. thinly sliced apples
3 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1/2 c. raisins

Mix together oil, sugar, eggs, vanilla and apples. Sift together and stir into apple mixture the flour, soda, cinnamon and salt. Mix well and add chopped nuts and raisins. Pour into 9 x 13 pan.

Bake for 40 to 45 minutes. When almost cool, sprinkle with powdered sugar.
