PUMPKIN CUSTARD CAKE 
1 box yellow cake mix (1 c. set aside)
1/2 c. butter, melted
4 eggs
1 lb. can pumpkin
2/3 c. brown sugar
2 tbsp. cinnamon
2/3 c. evaporated milk
1/4 c. butter
1/4 c. sugar
Nuts, optional

Mix cake mix (minus 1 cup) plus melted butter and 1 egg. Pat into bottom and sides of 9x13 pan, making a crust. Mix 3 eggs, pumpkin, brown sugar, cinnamon, and milk. Pour on top of cake.

Mix 1 cup cake mix, 1/4 cup butter and 1/4 cup granulated sugar. Sprinkle on top. Add nuts if desired. Bake at 350 degrees for 40-50 minutes or until custard is set. Cool and cut into squares. Top with Cool Whip. Delicious! Travels well!
