ANISE BREAD 
3 c. sifted all-purpose flour
4 1/4 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. granulated sugar
2 eggs, beaten foamy
2 c. milk
2 tbsp. melted butter
5 tsp. anise seed

Sift together the dry ingredients. Stir in the eggs and milk, and add the butter and anise seed. Beat well and spoon into two regular greased tea-sized loaf pans. Bake about 30 minutes in a 350 degree oven.

The more time you spend on your knees, the less danger there
is of falling.
