This recipe was a good base, but I had to add more flour to make it into a dough. Granted, I altered the recipe a bit. Cut down the sugar to 1/2 cup 1 teaspoon. Used 1 cup of pecans, ground in blender. Perhaps pecans made it more moist? I creamed the butter sugar first, then foolishly added the eggs (which hardened the butter). Ok , next time I'll put flour in b4 eggs. After mixing, the batter was till too moist so I slowly mixed in 3/4 cup of Flour, a 1/4 cup at a time till it got doughy. Cooking time was longer for me but I like cookies crispy. 375°F, but cooked for probably 17 minutes, checking them at 2-3 min intervals after 1st 10 min. Happy with the alteration. May add turmeric and black sesame next time for yuks - Armenian store near my job makes anise-turmeric cookies to die for. Have a nice, day all and happy baking.
