3 lbs. pork loin country-style ribs, cut into single ribs 1/2 c. cider vinegar 1/4 c. water 1/4 c. butter 2 tsp. salt, or to taste 1/4 tsp. crushed red pepper or 1/8 tsp. hot pepper sauce Place ribs in shallow baking pan. Bring remaining ingredients to boil in saucepan; pour over ribs. Let stand 1 hour, turning ribs occasionally. Drain; reserve marinade. Place ribs on grill or on rack in broiler pan. Grill or broil until tender, 50 to 60 minutes, about 7 inches from low heat source, basting with reserved marinade and turning ribs often. Makes 4 servings. |
