2 (10 inch) uncooked deep dish pie shells 10 strips bacon, crisply cooked and crumbled 1 lg. pkg. Jack cheese 2 c. Half and Half 6 eggs 2 med. onions 1 (4 oz.) can diced green chilies 1 (4 oz.) can chopped olives Sprinkle bacon, chilies, olives and then cheese (dividing equally between 2 pie shells) onto bottom of pie crusts. Put eggs, cream and onions in blender and blend for 10 seconds. Pour cream mixture into pie shells. Bake in preheated oven for 45 minutes to 1 hour at 350 degrees. The pies should be reasonably firm before you take them out. Let pies set out for a little while before serving so that you can cut them easily. |
