RED BEANS AND RICE 
1 lb. red beans (dry)
1 lg. onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic
2 tbsp. parsley
2 tsp. salt
Water to cover
2 cashes Tabasco sauce
1 ham bone
1/2 tbsp. pepper
2 bay leaves
2 tbsp. basil
1/2 c. brown sugar

Place all in large pot. Simmer 4 hours or until done. Serve over cooked rice.
