CHOCOLATE RHUBARB CAKE | |
1/2 c. butter (butter) 1/2 c. oil 1 3/4 c. sugar 2 eggs 2 tsp. vanilla 1/2 c. sour milk 2 c. rhubarb 2 1/2 c. flour 4 tbsp. cocoa 1 tsp. baking soda 1/2 tsp. cinnamon 1/2 tsp. salt 1 tsp. baking powder 1/2 c. chocolate chips (opt.) 1 c. nuts (opt.) Mix butter, oil and sugar, cream well. Add eggs, vanilla and sour milk; mix well. Add flour, cocoa, soda, cinnamon, salt and baking powder. Then stir in 2 cups rhubarb, add chips and nuts if you wish. Put in a 9"x13" greased and floured pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 40 to 45 minutes. Frost with chocolate frosting. |
