The batter was so light and smooth and fluffy. The kids devoured it before I could get it to the church. I will have to share this with my mother.

I made this seven up cake and it turn out great! The cooking time needs to be less than 1 hour (it probably depends on your oven) not 1 hour and 15 minutes. It was very moist, I made it on Sunday evening and it was just about-gone on Monday! I will be making it again...

It was too sweet for my family. So I cut the sugar, only used 2 cups and I also used 3/4 cup of Seven Up. It was still moist and delicious.

I grew up eating this wonderful 7-Up cake. It was my choice of birthday cake every year, still is and I will be turning 54 on my next. The only difference is, my Mom would put coconut flavoring instead of butter flavoring. To DIE for!!

I was wondering if a cup of sour cream could be added. Lol, scared to mess with Moms recipe. Anyone tried this?

It turned out great for a non baker like me. The recipe was easy to follow. My husband loved it, and the baking spray worked well for me, the Bakers Joy.
