MICROWAVE COLORADO PEACH BUTTER 
4 c. peeled & cubed peaches
1/4 c. water

Put peaches and water in 2 quart casserole. Cover. Microwave on high for 3 minutes until fork tender.

In blender add to peaches: 1/8 tsp. salt 1/8 tsp. cinnamon, nutmeg or cloves

PEACH BUTTER:

In a 3 quart casserole mix 4 cups peach sauce, 1 package powdered fruit pectin, 1 teaspoon cinnamon and 1 tablespoon pumpkin spice. Cover. Microwave on high 8-10 minutes stirring after 5 minutes until boils. Add 4 1/2 cups sugar to hot mixture stirring well. Cover. Microwave on high 10-13 minutes stirring every 5 minutes until mixture reaches full boil. Then time for 1 minute of boiling. Stir well. Ladle into prepared glass jars. Seal. (Clean jars and boil top down with lids so jars are warm when putting jam in.) Makes about 6 cups.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
