BARBECUE SAUCE FOR HAMBURGER OR
WIENERS
 
1 onion
2 tbsp. fat
2 tbsp. vinegar
2 tbsp. brown sugar
4 tbsp. lemon juice
1 c. catsup
3 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/2 c. mustard
1/2 c. water
1/2 c. celery
Salt
Cayenne pepper

Saute chopped onion and celery in oil. Add rest of ingredients and simmer about 30 minutes. Add a little more water if needed. Add browned (crumbled) hamburger that the fat has been drained off. Simmer a few minutes longer. Serve on buns.
