BUTTER RUM CAKE 
2 c. sifted flour
1 3/4 c. sugar
5 eggs
1/2 lbs. butter (2 sticks)
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. butter flavoring
1 tsp. rum flavoring

ICING:

1 c. sugar
1/2 c. water
1 tsp. rum flavoring

Cream butter thoroughly. Add sugar gradually. Add eggs one at a time. Mix well. Add extracts. Add sifted flour a little at a time. Blend well. Pour batter into greased and dusted 10 inch stem pan and bake at 325 degrees for about 1 hour.
