BUTTER RUM CAKE 
2 c. sifted flour
1 3/4 c. sugar
5 eggs
1/2 lb. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. butter flavoring
1 tsp. rum flavoring

Cream butter and sugar thoroughly. Add eggs, one at a time and add extracts. Then add sifted flour a little at a time. Pour batter into greased and floured bundt pan. Bake at 325 degrees for about 1 hour.

ICING:

1 c. sugar
1/2 c. water
1 tsp. rum flavoring

Bring water and sugar to a boil and cool. Add rum flavoring. Use pastry brush and apply to warm cake.
