OLD - FASHIONED EGGNOG 
6 eggs, slightly beaten
4 c. milk
1/4 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
2 c. whipped cream or 1 pt. vanilla ice cream
Nutmeg (optional)

Mix eggs, milk, sugar and salt until well blended. Fold in whipped cream. Pour into bowl or pitcher. Cover and refrigerate several hours or overnight. Sprinkle each serving with nutmeg, if desired. Serve with a peppermint candy. Makes 14 (1/2 cup) servings.
