NEW COUNTRY PIE 
CRUST:

1/2 of 8 oz. can Hunts tomato sauce (1/2 c.)
1/2 c. bread crumbs
1/4 c. chopped onion
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 lb. ground beef
1/4 c. chopped bell pepper
1/8 tsp. oregano

FILLING:

1 1/3 c. Minute Rice
1 c. grated cheddar cheese
1 c. water
1 1/2 c. Hunts tomato sauce
1/2 tsp. salt

Combine crust ingredients and mix well. Pat meat mixture into bottom and pinch 1-inch fluting around edge of a greased 9-inch pie plate. Set aside. Combine rice, tomato sauce, salt, water and 1/4 cup cheese. Spoon mixture into meat shell. Cover with foil. Bake in 350 degree oven for 25 minutes. Uncover; sprinkle remaining cheese. Bake uncovered 10-15 minutes longer. Yield: 5 or 6 servings. Put foil under pan to catch drippings.
