1 c. cocoa
4 1/2 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1 c. shortening
2 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. vanilla
2 egg yolks
1 c. sour milk
1 c. hot water

Mix and drop on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 400 degrees for 8 minutes.

FILLING:

2 egg whites
2 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. shortening
4 tbsp. milk
4 c. confectioners sugar
4 tbsp. flour

Beat egg whites. Add other items one at a time, beating after each at medium speed. Spread over half of cookies. cover filling with remaining cookies.
