SWEET-WHITE POTATO CASSEROLE 
6 white potatoes
2 (1 lb.) cans sweet potatoes or yams
3/4 c. milk
3/4 c. butter
2 tsp. salt
Dash of pepper

Boil white potatoes and drain. Heat sweet potatoes in saucepan and drain. Add to white potatoes. Heat milk and 1/2 cup butter, salt and pepper until butter melts. In mixing bowl with electric mixer, mash potatoes until smooth. Gradually beat in hot milk mixture. Beat at medium speed until fluffy. Turn into casserole. Melt remaining butter and pour over potatoes. Prepare ahead and bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes to 1 hour covered. (Use a large casserole.) Serves 8 to 10.
