GINGERBREAD WITH LEMON SAUCE 
Butter a shallow pan 8 or 9 inches square. Set the oven at 350 degrees. Beat 2 eggs. Add 1/2 cup each of sour cream, molasses and brown sugar. Beat well. Sift together, 1 1/2 cups plain flour, 1 teaspoon baking soda, 1 teaspoon ginger and 1/4 teaspoon salt.

Stir into the first mixture. Add, 1/2 cup melted butter. Beat well and pour into pan. Bake about 30 minutes. Serve with lemon sauce.

SAUCE:

Put in a small saucepan.
3/4 c. sugar
2 tbsp. light corn syrup
1/4 c. water

Boil 5 minutes without stirring. Remove from heat and add 2 tablespoons butter and juice of a lemon. Pour over gingerbread while hot and serve warm.
