LEMON SAUCE FOR GINGERBREAD 
1/2 c. sugar
1 1/2 tbsp. cornstarch
Pinch salt
2 tbsp. butter
2 tbsp. lemon juice
Dash nutmeg

Mix and add 1 cup boiling water to sugar, cornstarch and salt. Cook until clear. Remove from heat. Add 2 tablespoons butter, 2 tablespoons lemon juice and dash nutmeg. Serve over warm ginger bread.
