HAMBURGER STEW 
1 lb. ground beef
1 can beef consomme
1 can onion soup
1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 (16 1/2 oz.) mixed vegetables
1 can water
2 or 3 c. egg noodles

Brown ground beef slowly; drain grease. Add onion soup, beef consomme, tomato sauce and water. Cook very slowly for 1 hour. Add vegetables and noodles, and simmer until noodles are cooked.

Fresh vegetables of your choice can be used in place of the canned ones.
