HOMEMADE PIZZA FROM SCRATCH (2
pies)
 
Procedure:

1. Make Crust.

2. Make sauce.

3. Grate cheeses.

4. Roll dough.

5. Assemble.

6. Cook.

DOUGH FOR CRUST:

1 packet yeast
1 c. lukewarm water
1 tsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. olive oil
3 c. flour

1. Place first 3 ingredients in large bowl and let set in a warm place until bubbly.

2. Add the rest of ingredients and beat with spoon. Knead a few times. Grease bowl.

3. Let dough rise in warm place until double in size.

SAUCE:

Meanwhile make sauce in a medium pan on stove. Combine: 3/4 tsp. oregano 3/4 tsp. rosemary Salt & pepper 1/2 c. chopped black olives 1 tsp. garlic powder 1/2 onion, chopped 1/2 green pepper, chopped Few mushrooms

Simmer while grating cheeses.

CHEESES:

Grate: Provolone, Mozzarella, Romano and Scamoze. Use any amounts. I usually have about 2 cups of each when grated.

ROLL DOUGH:

Next roll or pat out dough to fit in greased pizza pans. Spread sauce on dough and add cheese. Bake at 400 degrees about 20 minutes.
