BLONDE BROWNIES 
2 c. all-purpose flour
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
2/3 c. butter
2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
2 eggs, slightly beaten
2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chocolate chips
1/3 c. chopped nuts

Mix flour, soda, salt, baking powder. Melt butter in saucepan; add sugar. Blend in eggs and vanilla. Add flour mixture, gradually, mixing well. Spread in 13 x 9 inch pan. Sprinkle with chips and nuts. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Cool in pan, then cut into bars.
