CHOCOLATE CHIP BLOND BROWNIES | |
1 c. sifted flour 1/2 tsp. baking powder 1/8 tsp. baking soda 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 c. chopped nuts Sift above ingredients, mix and set aside. 1/3 c. butter 1 c. firmly packed brown sugar 1 egg, slightly beaten 1 tsp. vanilla Melt butter and add brown sugar. Mix together well. Cool slightly. Add egg and vanilla. Blend and add flour (small amount at a time) mixing well after each addition. Spread into greased 9 by 9 pan. Sprinkle 1/2 cup miniature chocolate chips over the top. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes. Do no overbake. Cool in pan and cut into squares. (Double recipe for 9 by 13 pan). |
