RIVER POTATOES | |
Sliced raw potatoes (use 1 potato per person) 1 sliced onion Strips of bacon Cheddar cheese, grated In a 9 x 13 inch pan, layer thin slcied, raw potatoes. Over the potatoes place slice raw onions. Generously sprinkle with salt and pepper. Place sliced bacon over all. Cover with foil. Bake 1 hour in 300 degree oven, or cover with Saran Wrap and microwave. These potatoes can also be prepared on your barbecue grill. Cook until tender. During the last few minutes sprinkle generously with Cheddar cheese. Return to oven just long enough for cheese to melt. Super for breakfast or dinner!! |
