RAISIN AND WALNUT COOKIES 
2 c. brown sugar
3 eggs
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. Crisco

1/2 c. raisin juice (boil raisins 5 minutes, drain; use juice)
1 tsp. baking soda put into raisin juice
4 c. flour
2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. salt

2 c. raisins
2 c. walnuts

Bake on greased cookie sheet at 375 degrees about 10 minutes.
