I have only one word to describe this recipe and that's "AMAZING!" It was super simple to follow and the cookies came out as described "soft" chocolate chip cookies.. This recipe is a keeper I loved the fact it did not call for shortening which makes the cookies be a greasy melt in your mouth sort of thing. This recipe is not overly sugary like others and actually have a mild sugar taste for all those who can't stand a whole bag of pure sugar in your mouth this is the recipe for you! Only modification I did was add walnuts which only bumped up the awesomeness.. Like I said before it was amazingly delicious!! :)

Well they were very good and easy to make it just seems like they could have used a little bit more brown sugar for flavor!! :) but other than that they were very good :)

Thank you for this recipe. It's the best cookies I've ever made. I did put chopped pecans in it and because I love orange chocolate I used orange flavoring instead of vanilla.

I have made these cookies several times and never had a problem with them. Yesterday I made another batch and they spread and became thin in the oven. I don't know what happened, I followed the recipe and even measured the ingredients, (which I sometimes don't). I usually just bake a dozen at a time and put the rest of the dough in the fridge for later. The only thing different this time was a new bag of flour. Can someone tell me how to save the rest of it and what went wrong?
