CHOP SUEY | |
1 lb. pork cutlets 2 med. onions 1 c. celery 1 can chow mein vegetables 3 tbsp. cornstarch 3 tbsp. water 4 tbsp. soy sauce 1 1/2 c. water Salt and pepper to taste Cut pork in 1 x 1/2 inch pieces (use scissors). Brown in pan (sprayed with Pam - or 2 tablespoons oil). Add coarsely cut onions. Cook until translucent. Add water and cut up (1/2 inch pieces) celery. Cook 10 minutes and add can of vegetables. Stir in cornstarch. Add soy sauce. Serve over rice or mashed potatoes. |
