HAM AND RICE CASSEROLE | |
3/4 c. long grain rice 1/2 c. chopped onions 2 tbsp. cooking oil 2 c. cubed, cooked ham 1 (9 oz.) pkg. frozen cut green beans 1 (10 1/2 oz.) can beef broth 1/2 soup can of water Cook rice and onion in oil until rice is lightly browned; stir frequently. Add ham, beans, beef broth and can of water. Heat to boiling. Turn into 2 quart dish. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until rice is done. Stir just before serving. I usually double recipe; freezes well also. |
