PEANUT BUTTER PIN WHEELS | |
1 1/2 c. flour 1/2 tsp. baking soda 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 c. shortening 1 c. sugar 1 c. peanut butter (smooth) 1 egg 2 tbsp. milk 1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips Cream shortening, sugar and salt. Blend in peanut butter, egg and milk. Blend in flour and soda. Shape into 2 balls and chill until firm. Melt 6 ounce package chocolate chips and 1 teaspoon butter over hot water. Roll 1 ball to about 1/4" thickness into a rectangle. Spread with 1/2 chocolate mix. Roll as jelly roll. Chill at least 1 hour then slice. Bake on greased cookie sheet at 375 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes. These may be kept in refrigerator and baked as needed. |
