GERMAN HOT POTATO SALAD 
1/4 lb. butter
1 c. sugar
1 tbsp. salt
2 tbsp. cornstarch
1/4 c. vinegar
1 c. water
8 hard boiled eggs
12 potatoes

Boil potatoes in jackets. Peel skin. Slice. Slice hard boiled eggs. Set aside. In large saucepan combine all other ingredients. Bring to a boil to thicken. Remove from heat. In large serving bowl, combine eggs, potatoes and sauce. Stir. Serve warm.
