HOT GERMAN POTATO SALAD | |
1 1/2 lbs. potatoes 2 tbsp. bacon bits 3 tbsp. minced onion 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. coarsely ground pepper 2 tsp. dried parsley flakes 1/4 c. boiling water 1/2 tsp. granulated beef bouillon 1/4 c. cider vinegar Boil potatoes until tender (not mushy). Peel and slice into a deep bowl, add bacon bits, onion, salt, pepper and parsley. Dissolve bouillon in boiling water. Add along with vinegar. Toss lightly. Serve warm. Add some chopped pickles for a piquant flavor if desired. Makes 6 servings. (84 calories each). |
