SELF-FILLED CUPCAKES 
1 pkg. (18 oz.) chocolate cake mix (2 layer size)
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese (softened)
1 egg
1 pkg. (6 oz.) or 1 c. semi-sweet chocolate pieces
1/3 c. sugar
Dash of salt

Mix cake according to package directions. Fill paper baking cups in muffin pans, two thirds full. Cream the cheese with sugar, beat in egg and salt. Stir in chocolate chips. Drop 1 teaspoon of the cheese mixture into each cupcake. Bake as package directs. Remove from pans to cooling racks. Makes 30 cupcakes.
