OATMEAL FILLED COOKIES 
1 c. shortening
2 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. salt
2 c. flour
2 c. rolled oats
1 tsp. baking soda

Mix shortening, brown sugar and eggs. Add dry ingredients; mix well. Drop by spoon onto cookie sheet, 350 degrees, 8 minutes. Cool completely; spread filing on one cookie and add a top cookie.

FILLING:

3/4 c. shortening
2 c. powdered sugar
Dash of salt
2 egg whites
Vanilla
2 tbsp. marshmallow fluff

Mix well.
