SHORT RIBS SUPREME 
3 lb. short ribs
2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. water
1/2 c. onion (sliced)
1 clove garlic (minced)
1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
1 c. catsup
3/4 c. brown sugar
2 tbsp. mustard
1/2 c. vinegar

Brown ribs on all sides in their own fat. Cover and simmer 1 hour. Pour off most drippings. Mix all the rest of the ingredients and add to meat. Cover tightly and cook 1 1/2 to 2 hours or at 350 degrees in oven for 3 hours. Very tender!
