SHORT RIB BARBECUE | |
3 or 4 lb. beef short ribs 3 tbsp. shortening 1 pkg. dry onion soup mix 1/4 c. vinegar 2 tbsp. brown sugar 1 c. catsup 1/2 c. water 1 tsp. prepared mustard 1 tsp. salt Brown ribs well on all sides in shortening. Combine all other ingredients in bowl and pour over browned meat. Cover tightly and simmer for 2 hours or until meat is tender. Turn occasionally. |
