OVEN FRENCH FRIES
3 lg. potatoes
2 tbsp. butter
1 tsp. parsley
1/8 tsp. garlic powder
Dash of salt (opt.)
2 to 3 tbsp. oil
Parmesan cheese (opt.)

(May be cooked on barbeque grill using heavy aluminum foil, stir every 7 minutes.)

Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Coat a baking sheet with the oil, set aside. Clean potatoes (peel if desired). Cut into 1/4 inch French fry strips. Place in medium bowl.

On stove or in microwave melt butter. Stir in parsley and garlic. Pour over potatoes, coating well. Spread out onto baking sheet. Bake 20 minutes or until lightly browned and tender, stir at 10 minutes for even browning. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese, drain on paper towels.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
