1/2 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
2 cups sifted confectioners' sugar
2 (1 oz. ea.) sq. unsweetened chocolate, melted
1/4 tsp. vanilla
dash salt
1/2 cup chopped pecans

Place cream cheese in bowl; cream until soft and smooth.

Blend in sugar slowly; add chocolate and mix well. Add vanilla, salt and pecans; mix until well blended.

Press into well greased shallow pan.

Note: For a slightly softer fudge, blend in 1 teaspoon of cream.
