APPLE PIE LOW CALORIE | |
1/3 c. polyunsaturated butter 1 tbsp. honey 2 tbsp. flour 1 c. rolled oats Mix butter and honey with fork. Mix flour and oats, stir the 2 mixtures together to make a dough. Using a spatula or floured fingers, press dough evenly into bottom and sides of a 9-inch pie pan. Bake for 10 minutes in 350 degree oven. Cool. FILLING: 4 1/2 c. peeled and sliced apples (or pears) 1 tsp. lemon juice 2 tbsp. flour 1/4 c. honey Toss fruit with remaining ingredients. Arrange in prepared pie shell. Cover fruit with foil, bake in 350 degree oven for 45 minutes. Remove foil for last 10 minutes. Serve warm or cooled. 1/8 piece of pie equals 205 calories (2 starch; 2 fat). |
