RICE PIE WITH MEAT CRUST 
1 lb. ground beef
1/2 c. dry bread crumbs
1/4 c. chopped onion
1/4 c. green pepper, chopped
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tbsp. pepper
1/2 c. tomato sauce
3 c. cooked rice
1 1/2 c. tomato sauce
1/2 c. grated cheese

Combine beef, bread crumbs, onion, green pepper, salt, pepper and tomato sauce. Pat mixture on to bottom and sides of a greased 10" pie plate. Combine rice, tomato sauce and grated cheese. Spoon mixture into meat shell. Bake in moderate oven, 350 degrees for 25 minutes. Sprinkle with 1/4 cup cheese. Bake 5 minutes more.
