CHEDDAR BROILED TOMATOES | |
3 large tomatoes, cut in half salt and pepper, to taste 1 1/2 cups fresh bread crumbs 3/4 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese 1/4 cup (1/2 stick) butter, melted paprika, for sprinkling Cut thin slice from bottom of each tomato half, season with salt and pepper. Mix crumbs, cheese and butter, spoon over tomatoes. Sprinkle with paprika. Broil until cheese is melted. Submitted by: Judy Brannock |
