HOT FRUIT CASSEROLE 
1 can applesauce, reg. size can
1/3 c. butter
3/4 c. brown sugar
1 lg. can pears, sliced
1 (10 oz.) bottle red cherries
2 sliced bananas
1 lg. can sliced peaches
1 lg. can pineapple chunks
1 lg. can purple plums, opt.
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1/2 c. sherry

Melt butter and brown sugar in skillet. Add applesauce. Set off heat. Drain all fruits except cherries. Add to applesauce mixture. Pour into large casserole. Sprinkle 3 tablespoons brown sugar, 1/2 cup nuts and cherries (until pretty) over top of casserole. Bake 1 hour at 350 degrees. Pour 1/2 cup of sherry on top last 10 minutes or baking time. Serves 12 to 15. This is good served with your Christmas and Thanksgiving meals.
