CREAM OF BROCCOLI SOUP | |
1 (10 oz.) box frozen chopped broccoli 1/2 sm. onion, chopped 1/2 pt. light cream 1/3 c. cornstarch 1 tsp. garlic salt 1 tsp. white pepper 7 slices yellow American cheese 6 c. water Place frozen broccoli and 6 cups water in 3 quart saucepan. Bring to boil and add onion, salt, white pepper. Reduce heat to medium. In separate bowl, mix light cream and cornstarch with wire whisk. Add to other ingredients. Stir well. Then add cheese until melted. Serve hot. |
