SAUERKRAUT SOUP 
1 lb. smoked sausage
1 onion, chopped
3 tbsp. oil
4 c. milk
3 tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. thyme
1 can sauerkraut
1 1/2 tbsp. lemon juice

Peel skin off sausage and cut into small pieces. Heat turkey in oil in a skillet, then saute the onion until limp. Add flour to make a roux. Add milk and the other ingredients except the kraut. Stir until thick. Add kraut and stir.
