APPLE BREAD PUDDING DIET DESSERT 
4 slices bread, toasted
1 1/2 c. reconstituted non-fat dry milk
2 eggs
1/3 c. sugar
1/4 c. raisins
1 apple, peeled, cored and diced
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
1 tbsp. packed brown sugar

All time favorite is 128 calories per serving.

Cut bread into 1/2 inch cubes. Turn into 9 x 9 x 2 inch baking dish. Heat milk; pour over bread and let stand 20 minutes. Beat eggs until light; add sugar, raisins, apple, cinnamon, salt, and nutmeg. Stir into bread mixture. Sprinkle brown sugar over. Place casserole in larger shallow pan on oven rack. Pour hot water ground casserole in pan to depth of 1 inch. Bake at 350 degrees for 65 minutes. Serves 8.
