PINTO BEAN CAKE 
1 stick butter
1 c. sugar

Cream together and add 2 cups drained, mashed pinto beans (save juice for icing). Add: 1 c. self-rising flour tsp. baking soda 1 tsp. cinnamon 1/2 tsp. cloves 1 tsp. vanilla flavoring 1 c. raisins 2 c. raw diced apples 1/2 c. chopped nuts

Bake in greased tube pan at 325 degrees for 1 hour.

ICING:

1 (1 lb.) box powdered sugar
1/2 c. butter
1 tbsp. milk
1 tbsp. bean juice
1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
