SKILLET PINEAPPLE UPSIDE DOWN
CAKE
 
butter
1/2 lb. dark brown sugar
1 (No. 2) can crushed pineapple
2/3 c. sugaregg
1/2 c. milk
1 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. vanilla

Grease skillet with 2 tablespoons butter. Spread brown sugar in skillet; place pineapple over brown sugar. Cream sugar and 1/4 cup butter; add egg. Cream again, alternating with milk and flour. Add vanilla. Pour batter in skillet. Bake in 350 degree oven for about 1 hour or until brown sugar is thick. Turn on large plate; cool and serve.

Personal Note: It was a cake my mother made about all my life.
