TEXAS SHEET CAKE & FROSTING 
1 c. water
4 tbsp. cocoa
2 sticks butter
2 c. sugar
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 eggs
1/2 c. sour cream

Bring to boil 1 cup water, 4 tablespoons cocoa, and 2 sticks butter. Remove from heat and add 2 cups sugar, 2 cups flour, 1 teaspoon baking soda and 1/2 teaspoon salt. Add and beat in 2 eggs and 1/2 cup sour cream. Pour into greased jelly roll pan, mixture will be thin. Bake at 375 degrees for 20 minutes. Make frosting while cake bakes. Frost cake as soon as it is removed from oven.

FROSTING:

6 tbsp. evaporated milk
1 stick butter
4 tbsp. cocoa
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1 pkg. confectioners' sugar

Do not use confectioners' sugar in plastic bags or instant cocoa.

Bring milk, butter and cocoa to a boil. Remove form heat and add remaining ingredients.
